Music Monday: What Goes Up Must Come Down, and Vice Versa (Fingers Crossed)

The stock market’s historic bull market has come to a screeching halt.

We all knew that at some point it would end, but not as dramatically as it has.

For some reason, it made me think of the song Spinning Wheel by Blood, Sweat & Tears.

Fortunately, a look at the history of the stock market indicates that at some point the market will come back, and achieve record highs once again.

Knowing this made me think of the following song, which is perfect in this time of stress and uncertainty:

High Hopes – that’s exactly what we need right now…

  1. My high hopes are for some leadership out of Washington. But I fear that those hopes are unlikely to be realized at the Federal level. The current occupant of the White House is more concerned about the stock market than about managing the pandemic and preparing for what seems to be clearly headed our way. Such leadership would be mobilizing national resources for the provision of ventilators, face masks, medical equipment and emergency training of health care providers.
