I Can Never Sing the First Two Verses of This Song Again

It was one of my favorite songs as a teenager, Three Dog Night’s “Never Been to Spain“.

Our never-to-be-forgotten 10-week adventure in London ended today, and we are now in a beautiful AirBnb in Barcelona.

If our first day In Spain is any indication, we are going to love it here as well.

The temperature hit a high of 67 degrees today, and even later in the evening it was still in the 60s. We passed a lot of people dining out on the sidewalks; after walking a few blocks we decided to get some dinner of our own.

I made it about as Spanish a meal as you can; a glass of Sangria and some vegetable paella.

It was muy bueno.

We are looking forward to a few days exploring Barcelona before heading back home.
