Today we were lucky to be part of the celebration of the wedding of one of my nephews.
It was a wedding that had been postponed because of COVID, but the wait seemed well worth it.
It was a beautiful day in upstate New York, and with a lake in the background, the setting was picture-perfect for the wedding ceremony.
I’m also a fan of live music for the wedding, and I was not disappointed. Here’s a short clip of the band playing their signature song, Long Train Runnin’ by the Doobie Brothers:
Congratulations, Tim and Emily, I wish you a lifetime of love and laughter…
P.S. I did not come up with the “I Do Redo” phrase; that came from the wedding couple…
I like that sax music. Looks like everyone was having a lot of fun. And I’ll bet your nephew was happy to finally get married after such a long wait.

and I thought the sax playing was great…

True!
Maybe you should learn something new like Tippy said and start playing the sax. ๐

seems like practicing a sax could be quite the noisy endeavor… ๐

So good to see people enjoying themselves again. Best wishes to Tim and Emily. I’ve been out of town but got back today. So I’m going back a few days to see what I missed.
