I’m only 10 years late on this one.
Since 2010, Google has been putting together an annual video that reveals, in their own words, “the questions we shared, the people who inspired us, and the moments that captured the world’s attention each year.”
The video seems to be released in id-December of this year, so I can’t wait to see what the video for 2020 will look like. I can safely predict that I will write a blog about it when it is released.
In the meantime, here is the 2019 video; it can’t not put you in a good mood…
And here is where you can watch all of Google’s Year in Search videos…

I was in such an awful mood today but this honestly made me feel so much better.

All of them were great. The one armed weightlifter was very impressive.

I think there will be a lot of unsung heroes in 2020 too, Jim. A great video. I also had no idea ….

I was thinking the same thing; the word hero was such a big word in 2020, I wonder if they would go with the same theme two years in a row…

It’s hard to focus on one specific thing because that was such a powerful video. What was incredibly moving to me was the seven-year-old son running onto the tennis court to console his dad.

I think that was my favorite moment as well…

What a powerful video. Inspiring, uplifting, and full of hope. It is good to be reminded of all the selfless acts that happen all around us all the time. Especially at a time when hope seems small and hard to find. Well shared and I look forward to your post covering the 2020 edition. Well done, Jim!

That was nice, but it’s too bad there wasn’t a caped crusading coronavirus killer in that video.

A very uplifting video. I’ll be looking out for this year’s version now – I wonder what they’ll make of ‘COVID’ being the most searched term?

and the word hero has been used so much this year, but it was already used in last year’s video…

I just hope it isn’t ‘Trump 2020!’

Thank goodness the world never runs out of heroes who make “classy and positive” role models.
