It’s been a few months since my last attempt at a few six-word stories, so I thought I’d give it another shot. I figure that once I have 100 of them, I can market all the stories as a collection of “some of the worst writing found on the internet”.
Here we go:
- Warm classroom. Debits and credits. Snoring.
- Another meeting. Could have been emailed.
- It’s getting cooler. I miss summer.
- Working at home. Can’t stop snacking.
- Went on vacation. Never came back.
- Had low SATs. But rich parents.
Any six-word stories you care to share in the comments?
These are great!! I definitely relate to the one about working at home!!!!

Love 6 word stories. Do them every Friday. Well let me change that. I used to they have since turned Into super short stories because I kept going over 6 words sometime . ๐
Your last one made me laugh! And the vacation one I have wanted to do before!!

Thanks, Carolyn. They are fun to write. And yes, the endless vacation has a lot of appeal to it!

I read the post and chuckled.
I’m not really good at writing 6-word stories. Yours are good, though, and very intriguing.

I had commented last night but it must not have taken for some reason. Good job! I can identify with the vacation one and the snacking one. ๐
I used to do 6 word stories every Friday but I kept going over 6 words at times, so now it’s just called Super Short Stories. LOL!

I still remember the first one of these I ever heard:
“Wedding dress for sale. Never worn.”

I do enjoy visiting your blog. Does your first one counts as it seems to be 3 different subjects?

I was actually describing my class the other day. for some reason the heat was way up in the room, around 90 degrees. and we were talking about one of the less exciting accounting topics – debits and credits. that combo created the perfect atmosphere for a student to fall asleep! ๐
