Two Versions of One of My Favorite Songs

I was lucky enough to see Wicked on Broadway a couple of years ago, and it was an amazing play.

My favorite song from the play is “For Good”, and although we did not see the two original singers, Kristin Chenoweth and Idina Menzel, it was still a show-stopping performance.

Now the two of them have released a duet of the song, which is pure joy to watch.

The other version of the song I want to share is one I have posted before, which features Kristin Chenoweth and Anna Kendrick.

I’m not even going to say which one I like better, because I don’t think I can.

All I can do is recommend that you listen to both.

  1. Bravo! I’ve never seen Wicked, although I have wanted to for several years. I’ve heard nothing but good things about it. If it ever comes back to Arkansas or Memphis, I’m going to have to buy tickets.

      1. Recently, the book “Wicked,” on which the stage production was based, made it onto my list of suggested reading in Goodreads. I thought, YES! I have to read this book! Then I read a couple of reviews that said it was terrible — just the opposite of the play — and decided that I can skip the book.
