It was an exciting and momentous day at work.
The Villanova School of Business was ranked #1 in this year’s Bloomberg Businessweek ranking of undergraduate business programs.
It was quite an improvement, jumping from #24 and knocking off the five-time defending champ, Notre Dame.
It’s been an amazing month for the University, with the NCAA Men’s basketball championship and now the #1 business school.
The basketball team was recognized in a variety of ways for its accomplishments, including a parade in Philadelphia, the chance to ring the opening bell on the New York Stock Exchange, and Coach Jay Wright talking to President Obama on the phone.
So it got me daydreaming a bit; would the business school get the same opportunities? I even pictured myself in those situations, taking Coach Wright’s place.

Congrats to all the students, alumni, recruiters, staff, and faculty who helped make this happen. It’s a good day to be a Wildcat and part of the Nova Nation.
I’ll let you know when the parade is.
P.S. Don’t ask me why I’d be cutting down a net, but a boy can dream, can’t he?

Wow. Big. And well deserved.

I think the faculty and staff are more excited than the students!
