I’ve read a lot about Bitcoin over the past few years, and watched a few videos as well. I’ve even invested in it a bit, using Coinbase.
But despite all this, I still don’t really get it.
Fortunately, a video was finally made that explains it perfectly.
Now I just have to find a video that explains debits and credits…

I stumbled into your blog this afternoon (through DK’s Live and Learn) and liked what I read so I did what I always do when I find a new and interesting blog and went to the very first post in your archive. The third post of yours that I then read mentioned bitcoin and the fact that you had become wealthier by .004207 ($1.00!) of a bitcoin that Coinbase gave you for your original transactional purchase.
It was at this point that I searched “bitcoin” on your site so that I could follow the story of your path to bitcoin riches and read your very next post where you were sure you had become the bitcoin tipping point with the 8% one day increase (.07 cents)! After following the archived bitcoin history became I became terribly disappointed that your last bitcoin post was this post almost two years ago now. The video link in this last post didn’t work either, so I’ll take that as a sign that this was your last bitcoin post for a reason, and satisfy myself with following you just in case you do hit it big and I can ride your coattails to future riches.
I enjoyed my visits, though, so thank you. I’ll be back.

I still don’t know much about Bitcoin, two years later, but I still own a very small amount. Here is the video that disappeared from my original site, thanks for letting me know!

Excellent video! Thanks for refreshing the link. I still don’t get Bitcoin either though, and think I’ll keep my investments right where they are for the time being. I don’t want to have to come out of retirement and get a job! Thanks for updating and getting back to me … I enjoyed this series of posts.
